When you listed what you saw yesterday from marking in Christ or in Him, you listed that “in Him” you have redemption. The word redemption means “to buy or to purchase something.” Read Ephesians 1:7,8 and then read 1 Peter 1:18-21. As you read, note who is redeemed, how they are redeemed, what they are redeemed from, and what the result of that redemption is.

Record what you learn in your notebook under the title REDEMPTION. You may find it helpful to also note which Scripture gave you your insight beside each point in your list. Review your list and take time to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for being willing to redeem you. Talk to Him about how you should live in the light of His sacrifice.
